Principal of Aurora Design & Finishes, Amy Ouradnik is widely recognized as one of the Twin Cities area’s most accomplished decorative finishers . Equally skilled as a plasterer and mosaicist, Amy works in collaboration with interior designers, architects and homeowners, bringing spaces to life through visual artistry and material alchemy.

PHILOSOPHY

Amy’s three ironclad rules for any project are imperative to her artistic process: Listen carefully to the client; maintain open communication throughout the project; and always pay great attention to the details. For inspiration, Amy draws upon her extensive travels in Europe and Asia, real-life experiences as an artist and technician, as well as many master architects, designers and artisans, both in the classic and contemporary environment.
